ClassLink & Savvas Build a Better Back-to-School at 2025 BTS Summit

The 2025 Back-to-School (BTS) Summit, held on May 2 and co-hosted by ClassLink and Savvas, convened educational and vendor leaders to collaboratively address the complexities of preparing for the new academic year. Recognizing that back-to-school readiness is a year-round endeavor, participants engaged in discussions centered on five pivotal challenges:(classlink.com, classlink.com)
Funding and Sustainability: Developing strategies to maintain technological initiatives beyond the lifespan of initial grants.
Procurement: Streamlining the acquisition of technology resources while balancing budget constraints, navigating AI advancements, and ensuring compliance.
App Management: Implementing effective processes for selecting and overseeing applications to guarantee security, compatibility, and adherence to policies.
Digital Security: Enhancing cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data pertaining to students and staff.
AI Literacy: Equipping educators and students with the skills to utilize AI tools responsibly and ethically, amidst evolving federal guidelines and funding landscapes.(classlink.com)
To sustain momentum beyond the summit, Leadership Workgroups have been established, inviting stakeholders to collaboratively develop solutions and resources addressing these challenges.
